Our techniques and behaviour modification programs assist in teaching your dog everything from toilet training and manners, to walking nicely on a loose lead. It’s fun to teach your puppy or adult dog to sit, drop, stay and know when it’s time to play. The Canine Classroom instructor gives great advice and support, teaching you all the commands and exercises you and your dog need to know.

The Canine Classroom Classes

Boarding School

Get your dog off to the best start with a week at Doggy Boarding School.

Our professional trainer will immerse your dog in the training course and give them a boost to a positive relationship with you and other dogs.

Group Classes

Your weekly 1 hour training session. Don’t wait for a specific start date, join any time! Your dog will start in a class at their level & progress as they pass assessments. Class sizes are limited to 15 dogs – if there’s more, we’ll break up into smaller groups

Private Training

Does your dog need some focussed professional attention? Do they need to break some old habits? Excessive barking, nuisance jumping or refusal to recall? Private lessons provide a personalised training regime to suit your exact requirements. We come to you!

Puppy Pre-School

Puppy training helps young dogs learn foundational skills, good behaviour, and socialisation from the start, setting them up for a lifetime of success.

Walk & Train

Let our professional trainers combine your best friend’s exercise with a training session. It’s a great way for your pet to get much needed exercise & improve their basic obedience skills. Perfect for time poor owners. Available every day.

Behaviour Consults

No dog is perfect. But some dogs develop very antisocial or strange behaviours.

Our Behavioural Consultation service is designed to assess your dog’s situation, recommend action and provide guidance to help you undertake specific re-training.

3 Class Levels

You choose how far you wish to take your dog’s obedience training. Choose from up to 3 levels of achievement, ranging from Puppies to Control. Each level has differing skill requirements, progressively reaching higher standards.

Skill Level Assessments

To move through the levels your dog will pass formal assessments. During each assessment dogs objectively demonstrate they have met the required skills for that level. Assessments are held regularly against a list of criteria.

Dog Training Locations

The Canine Classroom offers dog training in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, with five convenient locations to choose from. Our classes run at Bellmere in Moreton Bay (close to Caboolture and North Lakes), Coorparoo and Kedron in Brisbane, and Kawana Waters and Peregian on the Sunshine Coast. Whether you’re looking for puppy school or advanced obedience training, our professional instructors provide the same quality programs at every venue.
