Choose the level you want to achieve with your dog! Our dog training classes Brisbane come in several levels: Puppy, Foundation (1 & 2) and Control (1 & 2).
Puppy Program $245
This is the very first level of dog training, purchase this package to enjoy basic training and socialisation with your newest four-legged family member.
Puppy interaction is an important part of the development stage. Our puppy training Brisbane classes allow the puppies in your group to explore each other, learning how to behave appropriately with other dogs. Socialising your dog at home is too small of a circle – your puppy needs to meet many different dogs and people, learning to differentiate right from wrong as they explore.
Your puppy will also be introduced carefully to loud noises, machinery, unusually dressed people, slippery surfaces, grooming, vet checks and more. This all helps to develop a sound temperament in your dog. Instead of being spooked and barking, your dog will know how to be calm and confident in an array of situations.
We also start a low level of obedience training. At Puppy level, this is primarily aimed at teaching the dog to respond to you. Skills like sit, recall and loose lead walking will all begin in puppy school. You will be on your way to having a well behaved dog.
Foundation Program $445
When you purchase this package as your goal level, you receive the puppy program as well (as long as your dog is still a pup, because age does matter in puppy preschool).
A solid foundation develops in these obedience classes – one where your dog’s skills and understanding develops. Utilising rewards, we build a desire in your dog to work for you, but more importantly, with you!
Our dog trainer takes time to conscientiously teach you to “correct” your dog when they make a mistake. Reliability under distractions is our goal.
Foundation is all about creating the skill and understanding of what to do, for both the dog and the handler.
Control Program $595
When you purchase this package as your goal level, you receive all the other levels as well!
Imagine you are walking along the beach. Your dog is 30 metres away, completely distracted by the seagulls. You call for your dog. Thanks to our control program, your dog disengages from its naturally fulfilling behaviour and returns to your side. Or, maybe you simply command your dog to “drop”, and it stops what it’s doing to lay down and await your next instructions. Wow!
This is the benchmark of our Control program. It provides you with all the tools, knowledge and simple techniques to go places knowing you can let your dog off the lead and still have effective control.
Successful dog obedience training shows the ability to walk past distractions like parents with prams, kids on skateboards or other dogs whilst maintaining full control of your own dog. Loose lead walking or having your dog maintain a heel past these distractions is the number one goal of pet owners and our Control course delivers.
