Puppy Training 1
Kindergarten for new puppies. It’s all about fun, socialising, distractions & new experiences.
Prerequisites
• 2-4 Months of Age
• Vaccinations Completed
Puppy Training 2
Puppy Pre-school! Intro to low level obedience & responding. Loose lead walking and polite behaviour building.
Prerequisites
• 4-6 Months of Age
• Vaccinations Completed
Foundation 1
The start of Primary School for dogs. It’s time to learn basic commands whilst on a lead.
Prerequisites
• 6+ Months of Age
• Command Response Focus
• Unlimited Sessions
Foundation 2
The High School equivalent. Command reliability, intro to off-lead and basic hand signals.

Results Based Packages
With The Canine Classroom you choose a training package to reach a particular level. You can attend AS MANY dog training group classes as you want, whether you’ve signed up for Puppy school or Control.
If your dog does not reach the achievement level during our typical training course time period, we will continue training until it does. NO extra charge – one month or one year. It doesn’t matter.
Evidence Based Assessments
At each level from Puppies to Control your dog will be assessed for understanding & responsiveness to instructions. A set series of criteria exist at each training level which our dog trainer will use to assess your dog during a formal Assessment Session. Each Assessment is split into 2 halves giving your dog two chances in the Assessment to demonstrate they understand what is needed from their instructions.

Once you have completed control, you will receive a certificate confirming your dog’s level of training. After that, you may come back to our group dog training classes any time, as often as you wish, to maintain a well mannered pet, for life!

Experienced Trainers
Our qualified trainers have all completed a minimum Certificate III in Dog Training and Behaviour. They can conduct private training/home visits with your dog if you’re finding that individual training might be required or easier for both you and your dog.
